Emergency and Information Call Boxes
These telephones are for use when police assistance is needed, to request security escort service, or assistance with vehicle problems.
The telephone system gives your location to UHPD as soon as the receiver is lifted. UHPD will respond, even if you do not speak.
In case of an emergency or to report suspicious activity, look for the red call boxes mounted on light poles and directly above each call box is a red sign with yellow letters which reads "Emergency Information."
You can also call 911 from any phone on campus – but please use the closest and safest device to your location.
