UHDPS Request for Police Services form (pdf)
The rate charged for UHDPS personnel working special events is set according to the annual Service Center Cost Study Report. There is a four hour minimum, and payment via SC voucher is required prior to the date of the event in the amount of the anticipated full cost. Additional manpower costs due to event time extensions or emergency situations related to the event will be payable upon receipt of invoice from the UHDPS Business Office. Likewise, if fewer hours are worked that projected, those costs will be reimbursed following the event.
As a reminder, an Expedite fee will be added to events that are scheduled less than 14 days in advance. Expedite Fees will be added to the total cost of the event as follows:
Along with these changes listed above, there will also be an administrative fee added to all
events for police service with the University of Houston Department of Public Safety. A 3%
administrative charge will be added to the total of all invoices.
