The Welcome Center and Cynthia Woods Mitchell Center for the
Arts were chosen to appear as outstanding designs in the 2007
American School & University Educational Interiors Showcase. The
Mitchell Center, honored for interior renovation, was led by the
teams of Lake|Flato Architects and Cadence McShane Corporation.
The Welcome Center was commended for outstanding design in the
student centers/service areas category. STOA/Golemon/Bulullo
Architects headed the team which also included The Douglas
Group, Bos Lighting Design, and SpawGlass Construction Corp.
Both projects will be profiled in the 2007 August issue of
American School & University magazine.
