The safety of all members of the campus community is a primary concern of the University of Houston. The purpose of this program is to promote safety through the proper management of potentially hazardous biological materials. In addition to policies, responsibilities and requirements for working with biological materials, this webpage contains helpful information for the day to day management of your laboratory.  For additional information or clarification of the contents of the manual please contact the Biological Safety Manager.
