Curriculum & Rotations

UH College of Pharmacy's M.S. in Pharmaceutical Health Outcomes and Policy with an emphasis in Hospital Administration and Leadership program covers the following courses and topics:

  • Biostatistics & Experimental Design
  • Healthcare Marketing
  • Strategic Healthcare Management
  • Pharmacy Health-System Management
  • Financial Management of Healthcare Organizations

  • Hospital Operations

The courses are offered in the evenings at Texas Medical Center facilities. The required coursework can be completed in 24 months. Please contact the graduate program director for additional details.

The PGY2 Residency in Health System Pharmacy Administration from the Texas Medical Center institutions is currently accredited by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP) and participates in the ASHP Resident Matching Program.
