Pre-pharmacy Advising

• Advising will be held in the College of Pharmacy Student Services Center, Science and Research Building 2, Room 122. For directions to S&R2, click here.
• To schedule an advising appointment, contact Student Services at (713) 743-1239 or email prepharmacyadvising@uh.edu.
• When emailing for an appointment, you must include your name, email address, phone number, and the college or university you are currently attending (if applicable). If you are a UH student, please include your myUH (PeopleSoft) ID.
• Step 2 sessions are scheduled by 20-minute increments. When emailing for your appointment, please provide three (3) times for which you are available. You will receive an email confirming your appointment time.

When should a student see an Advisor? Any student interested in the pursuit of pharmacy should attend the STEP 1 advising. Enrolled students should see an advisor each semester during the STEP 2 advising times. Enrolled UH students who are experiencing academic or personal difficulties should email a pre-pharmacy advisor directly for an appointment.

STEP 1 – Designed for ALL students who have NEVER been advised and provides a full overview of requirements, application process and the profession.

STEP 2 – Designed for ALL who have attended Orientation or STEP 1 and need a “check-up” to make sure they are on the right track.

**This session is not for students on probation nor suspension**
