Graduates will have numerous opportunities to fill vacant faculty positions in related fields, which are estimated to be currently almost 51 percent vacant. Congressional testimony from the Association of Academic Health Centers, the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy and reports by the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists note a serious lack of capacity of doctoral level professionals in pharmacy related healthcare fields.
