"Why UHCOP?"

Winner, Finalists Announced in PharmPhlix Video Challenge for Students to Showcase What Makes College Special

With smarts and selflessness in abundance, UH College of Pharmacy Pharm.D. students recently demonstrated that they have no shortage of talent and skill in the creative arts, either. Now in its second year, the UHCOP PharmPhlix Student Video Challenge invites students to tell their – and the college's – story in short-form videos centered around a given theme.

Although students are provided wide artistic freedom in their storytelling, the challenge also includes specific rules for eligibility, such as a maximum length of two minutes, minimum and maximum number of participants, and strength of answering one or more thematic concepts under a common theme (this year's challenge asked student to explain, "Why UHCOP?").

Cash prizes were awarded to organizations represented by the first- through third-place entries, which were scored by a panel of student, faculty and staff judges. Click on the images above to play the videos via YouTube.
