8 Ph.D. Students Earn Offers for Summer Internships in Pharmaceutical/Health Care Industry, Goverment Lab

Eight UH College of Pharmacy Ph.D. students – five in Pharmaceutical Health Outcomes & Policy and three in Pharmaceutics – are undertaking paid internships in the pharmaceutical/health care industries and during summer 2018. 

The PHOP program interns and their assignments are: Benjamin Lewing – Shell Health, Sanika Rege – AbbVie, Swarnawa Sanyal – Ascent Pharmaceuticals, Aisha Vadhariya – Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, and Qingqing Xu – AbbVie. 

The Pharmaceutics program students and their assignments are: Katherine Shatzer – Office of Translational Sciences/Office of Clinical Pharmacology within the Food and Drug Administration's Center for Drug Evaluation and Research, Yifan Tu – Boehringer Ingelheim, and Changhong Yun – Genentech.
