Change of Major Process
To change your major to the University of Houston College of Pharmacy Bachelor of Science in Pharmaceutical Sciences (BSPS) program you must:

• Be admitted to the University of Houston
     °If you are not a current student, you must apply online at applytexas.org
       and select pre-pharmacy as your major
• Have completed all required General Education Core Curriculum courses and college-required prerequisite courses with grade of C- or higher
• Have a overall GPA of 2.70 or higher
• Express an interest in changing your major to BSPS by:

  • Attending a BSPS advising session or completing the information form on the Advising Information page.
    AND
  • Requesting the University general petition change of major form and submitting the completed change of major form to the College of Pharmacy BSPS advisors
