Students wishing to transfer from a community college or university to the University of Houston in order to complete their pre-requisite courses prior to applying to UH College of Pharmacy should apply for admission to UH as a transfer student. In addition, students should gain transfer information at the following link: http://www.uh.edu/transfer/.

Transfer students should attend a new student orientation session for advising and can sign up at the following UH Dean of Students Office Website at www.uh.edu/dos/.

A few things to note about transferring to the University of Houston for Pre-Pharmacy:

• Transferring to UH for pre-pharmacy does not “guarantee” admission into UH College of Pharmacy.
• Transfer students should check the pre-pharmacy course work Web pages in order to continue working toward applying to UH College of Pharmacy.

• Students who have credit from International Universities that they wish to use toward their pre-requisite courses should go to the University of Houston Office of International Admission Website at www.uh.edu/enroll/admis/OIA/.
