LISTSERVS AVAILABLE
There are 2 Listservs available to Pre-Pharmacy students who wish to
receive email updates from the UH College of Pharmacy.
Students who are current UH students should sign up for the:
uhrx-prepharmacy@listserv.uh.edu
Students who are not current
UH students should sign up for the:
non-uh-prepharmacy@listserv.uh.edu
SUBSCRIPTION PROCESS
The instructions below apply
to students subscribing to either of the listserv’s above.
Please follow the steps below
carefully:
1. Send an email to listserv@listserv.uh.edu
with the following details.
- Do not include
anything in the subject field. Leave it blank.
- In the message
body type in ONLY THE FOLLOWING (delete any automatically appended
email signatures):
Sub uhrx-prepharmacy@listserv.uh.edu Your_FirstName Your_LastName
or
Sub non-uh-prepharmacy@listserv.uh.edu Your_FirstName Your_LastName
Be sure to replace Your_FirstName and Your_LastName with your
FirstName and LastName respectively.
2. You will receive a confirmation
email prompting you to click
on a hyperlink.You MUST click on the link in this
confirmation
email to complete your subscription.
3. You will then receive
the following message confirming your complete
subscription.
Confirming:
> SUBSCRIBE UHRX-PREPHARMACY FirstName LastName
You have been added to the UHRX-PREPHARMACY list.
REMOVE YOUR EMAIL
ADDRESS FROM THE MAILING LIST
To unsubscribe, users will need to do the following:
1. Send an email to listserv@listserv.uh.edu
with the following information:
- Leave the subject line blank.
- Clear all text from the body of the message. Be sure to
delete all signatures and automatically appended messages on your
outgoing email.
- Include only the following text in the body of the
message:
UNSUBSCRIBE UHRX-PREPHARMACY
or
UNSUBSCRIBE NON-UH-PREPHARMACY
depending on which mailing list you wish to unsubscribe from.
2. You will receive a message confirming the unsubscription.
