Scheduling an Advising Appointment

To schedule an advising appointment, contact student services at (713) 743-1239 or email pharmacyadmissions@uh.edu.

NOTE: When emailing for an appointment, you must include your name, email address, phone number, and the college or university you are currently attending (if applicable). If your are a UH student, please include your myUH ID.

Advising will be held in the College of Pharmacy Student Services Center, Science and Research Building 2, in room 122.

ADVISORY: International transcripts are not evaluated during these advising times. See the International Student Information Web page for details on this procedure.

If you are a NEW incoming UH pre-pharmacy student (freshman or transfer), orientation is required. You may not register for STEP 1 or STEP 2. You will not be advised at a STEP 1 or 2 session.

STEP 1

Designed for ALL students interested in the pharmacy profession and who have NEVER been advised. It provides a full overview of requirements, application process and the profession. Students are required to provide a copy of your transcripts if you are not a University of Houston student. Allow 2 hours.

STEP 2

Designed for ALL students who have attended orientation or STEP I and need a “check-up” to make sure they are on the right track. Allow 30 minutes.

All newly admitted freshman and transfer students should attend orientation. Contact the Dean of Students Office Orientation Hotline at (713) 743-5475 or online at www.uh.edu/dos to register for orientation.
