The following document is the Scope document for the UHS PeopleSoft Student Administration implementation, as of April 17, 2006. The document will have periodic updates.

PeopleSoft Student Administration Implementation
Scope Document: Rollout
This Document will outline the scope of the PeopleSoft SA implementation at UH and UHV. It will detail the functionality that will be made available at the Go-Live scheduled for FALL 2007 as well as how that schedule will be supported.
The following rollout schedule will apply to both UH and UHV:
The PeopleSoft 8.9 Student Administration modules will be rolled out into production beginning for the FALL of the 2007-2008 Academic Year. Admissions would normally lead off with a go-live sometime in August of 2006 to support applicants for the FALL 2007 semester but due to a contingency on the upgrade’s completion, will not be going live until the SPRING semester of the 2007-2008 year. Therefore, Financial Aid will go-live first around the beginning of February to support ISIR processing. Following Financial Aid will be Student Records. Student Records will go-live in the March 2007 time-frame to support the FALL 2007 registration of students. Immediately following the go-live of Student Records will be the rest of Financial Aid and Student Financials so that students can be billed once they have registered for classes. The last module to go into production will be Admissions, and it will go-live in order to start processing applications for the SPRING semester of the 2007-2008 academic year which normally begins around May of 2007.
The legacy system (ADMIN) will be used to complete all processing for the 2006-2007 academic year. ADMIN will also need to handle the Admissions processing for the FALL semester of the 2007-2008 academic year. Just prior to the PeopleSoft Admissions go-live for the SPRING semester of the 2007-2008 academic year, the ADMIN Admissions data for the FALL semester of 2007 will be converted into PeopleSoft, at which time PeopleSoft SA will be the system of record for ALL 2007-2008 academic year student admin data.
Below will be a more detailed explanation of the functionality that will be available as the PeopleSoft SA 8.9 functionality is moved into production.
