The University of Houston System has implemented PeopleSoft’s Student Administration software to handle all student information. The new software went live in March 2007 to accommodate registration for the Fall 2007 semester.
University of Houston and UH-Victoria have now moved to the new software, and UH-Clear Lake (which has used PeopleSoft since 2001) upgraded to the latest version, so that, with the completion of this phase of the implementation, all three universities are now in sync. All four UH System universities implemented PeopleSoft Human Resources and Finance in 2001.
PeopleSoft Student Administration is a complex information system that will provide UHS with:
- a platform for future innovation;
- improved system support for UHS business processes;
- the ability to enhance reporting and data analysis capabilities; and
- increased university-wide data integration.
