UH Family Weekend Registration Information

October 12-13, 2012

Family Weekend Registration is now closed. We look forward to seeing you at next year’s event.

All family members wishing to attend any or all of the Family Weekend activities must register, this also includes siblings. Your UH student is invited to attend all events with you at no additional cost. The Family Weekend package price includes admission to all Family Weekend activities, as listed on the schedule of events.

We strongly suggest that you register early as space is limited. The deadline to register for Family Weekend is October 1st, 2012. Please note that all packages and tickets are non-refundable.

Registration fees per person:
$45 for the entire Family Weekend event, including two meals^*, the annual family weekend t-shirt and UH football game . If you chose to NOT attend the football game, tickets for Family Weekend are $25 per person.
^{*The time of the UH football game has not yet been announced. Therefore, the schedule of events may be adjusted and some programs may be eliminated in order to accommodate the game time.}

Football Tickets
A limited number of football tickets for parents and family members are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Our reserved family section is adjacent to the student section.

You do not need to purchase a ticket for your UH student as they are eligible to receive a free ticket to sit in the student section. Each student must present a valid Cougar Card at Gate 10 on the east side of Robertson Stadium for admission. All student sections are general admission. Admission is first-come, first-served and based on availability so students may need to stand in line early to confirm he/she receives a ticket. If your student is planning on attending the game please remind them to get in line early in order to have the best chances of securing a ticket. To guarantee a ticket for your student there are several options. You can either:

• Have your student purchase a "guest ticket" for $20. These tickets go on sale the Monday before the game; the number of guest tickets available are dependent on overall ticket sales. Please click here for more information.
• Purchase a "single game" admittance ticket, please note this seat will not be in the "parent" or "student" section, though seating in the stadium is flexible. Please click here for more information.
• Go to the Family Weekend website and register your student for the weekend for $45, this guarantees a football ticket in the parent section.

Confirmation
After you register online, you will see a confirmation page of your registration. If you do not see this confirmation page of your order, your order was NOT completed and tickets have NOT been reserved for you. The Dean of Students Office is not responsible for orders that were not completed correctly. Please print the electronic confirmation page for your records. In late September you will receive a Final Event Details email with information about check-in, parking and an updated schedule of events.

Check In and Ticket Pick-up
Tickets will be included in your Family Day registration packet and must be picked up in the Campus Recreation and Wellness Center on Friday, October 12th between 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. or Saturday, October 13th between 8:00a.m. – 11:00 a.m. in the University Center, Houston Room by either you or your student.

We strongly recommend that you check-in for Parents & Family Weekend on Friday so that you can participate in as many activities and events as possible. If you can't come to the check-in, your student may check-in for you and can pick up your registration packet by presenting his or her student ID. Please note, if you do not pick up your tickets during check-in, you can pick up your football tickets at the Family Weekend Tailgate- the UH Ticket Booth will NOT have your tickets.
