Ready to register? Great! Make sure you've completed all of the following steps:

	Get admitted! Only students who have been officially admitted to the University of Houston will be allowed to attend Orientation. Students returning to UH after previously taking classes here should not attend Orientation, but make an appointment with their academic advisor.
	Check your scores! You are required to clear the TSI and Math Placement requirements before you will be allowed to register for Orientation. See more information about these requirements. Need help? Watch the walkthrough video for testing and placement.
	Create an account! Create an account within the Orientation/Courseware portal. Make sure to update your email address so you receive your confirmation email later! Need help? Watch the walkthrough video for account creation.
	Choose a date! See all available conference dates, and learn about our cancellation policy.

 Deadlines & Requirements

• Remember that all freshmen (and transfers with less than 30 transferable hours) are required to take the Math Placement exam before scheduling an Orientation conference. Visit Tests & Placement for more information.
• Registration for each conference closes at 5 p.m. Central time on the Monday before the conference begins. At this time, all reservations are final and fees are non-refundable. We will not accept walk-ins.

Honors College

If you have been admitted to the Honors College, you should choose an Orientation conference date which the Honors College (HON) is attending. You must register twice: with the Honors college AND with Orientation.
