Conferences

All Orientation cancellations or changes (including conference date, housing reservations, etc.) may be made by logging into the Orientation/Courseware portal.

All changes and cancellations must be made by the registration deadline. After this deadline, reservations have been processed and fees are non-refundable.

• You will only be allowed to register for dates that match your college (green) and classification (blue).
• Honors students (purple) must register twice - in the Orientation portal and with the Honors college.
• If you attend a 2-day conference, you will be required to attend both days.

The deadline for each conference is the Monday immediately prior to the conference, at 5:00 p.m. Central time.

Registration for each conference will be cut off at the deadline. Cancellations must be made before the deadline, in the Orientation/Courseware portal. After the deadline is reached, reservations are final and fees are non-refundable.

There are a limited number of seats for each conference, and specific colleges/majors may limit their participation to selected conference dates. Please register early to ensure your reservation is at a conference where your major is represented.

All fees will be added to your student fee bill in PeopleSoft, and you will have the opportunity to view the total when you register. Fees are non-refundable after your conference deadline is reached, so please make any changes/cancellations in advance.

• The Orientation Cost for a 2-day conference is $120. The Orientation Cost for a 1-day conference is $60.
• Guests are welcome at all conferences. If you choose to bring guests to a 2-day conference, you will be charged a $20 Guest Fee per adult guest (18 or older). There is no Guest Fee for 1-day conferences.
• At conferences where walk-ins are accepted, persons who do not register online ahead of time (walk-ins) will be charged a $10 walk-in fee.

The following sample schedules are provided for your convenience. We reserve the right to change actual itineraries for Orientation conferences.

Walk-ins (students who were not able to register before the deadline) will not be accepted at all conferences. Please visit this page to find out the latest walk-in information.

Walk-ins will not be accepted at the 6/26-27 conference. However, students who do not have Math Placement and TSI completed and processed before check-in will be turned away. Walk-ins should bring any TSI-related materials (scores, etc.) with them to Orientation.

A $10 walk-in fee will be added to the student's Orientation fee.
