Online and off-campus students are eligible for many of the same benefits and services as on-campus students, including electronic library access and career services.
Are you ready to apply? Undergraduate and graduate students should review the specific admissions requirements prior to applying for a program.
University of Houston offers several orientations for students to register for classes, learn about available resources, and tour the campus.
Undergraduate students living outside of the Houston area completing an online degree can request an orientation waiver by contacting our office.
Graduate student orientation is recommended but not mandatory.
Most online classes use a web-based learning management system, such as Blackboard and CourseWare. These systems provide an online environment for student interaction, submitting assignments, and completing exams.
Off-campus classes are held like main campus classes, but usually have smaller class sizes and are located in convenient Houston area locations.
Congratulations on completing your program!
Regardless of how or where you complete your classes, you will always be a Cougar. Don't forget to join the University of Houston Alumni Association to keep track of all things UH.
