Physics Graduate Student Recommended for HAMBP Fellow

Physics graduate student Mr. Guoxiong Su was recommended a predoctoral fellow by the prestigious Houston Area Molecular Biophysics Program (HAMBP). Mentored by his Ph.D. advisor Dr. Margaret S Cheung, Mr. Su will study the behavior of artificial photosynthetic materials using computer simulations and physics models. His aim is to develop strategies to enhance the efficiency of nano-sized chemical fuels for Clean Energy. An important aspect of HAMBP's mission is to foster interaction among faculty and trainees in the Gulf Coast Consortia formed by six research institutes at the Texas Medical Center in Houston.
