Hack-a-Thon

Hack-a-thonThe Hack-a-thon is a showcase of problem-solving abilities from students with a programming background. An estimated 300 students participate in this Major League Hack-approved event. Students from multiple schools throughout the Houston area (UH-Victoria/UH-Downtown/UH-Clear Lake) with a cross-disciplinary background have the opportunity to compete in this Hack-A-Thon. Each team is given a problem and spends 24 hours working to solve it.

As a sponsor, you have the opportunity to:

  • Gain access to resumes submitted and establish personal relationships with some of the brightest minds in Texas and beyond.
  • Send mentors to the Hack-a-thon for assisting participants in integrating your hardware and/or API into their projects.
  • Expose your company and brand to participants and exhibition attendees
  • Interview prospective employees on-site
