Computer Science and Computer Information Systems Students Win at AITP National Collegiate Conference
Computer Science Majors Garnered First Place in Visual Studio.Net Developer Category

AITPThe University of Houston’s Association of Information Technology Professionals (AITP) Student Chapter earned multiple top awards at the 2015 AITP National Collegiate Conference, held March 26-29, in Omaha, Nebraska. Almost 60 universities from around the country sent 500 students to the conference.

Twelve student members from UH AITP’s Student Chapter competed at this year’s conference: two Computer Science students and 10 Computer Information Systems students. The UH students competed in various academic contests including Database Design, Java Programming, Systems Analysis and Design, Visual Studio.net Developer, PC troubleshooting, Network Design, Mobile Application Development and Microsoft Office Solutions.

Congratulations to computer science majors, Tahmid Mahmud and Gagan Singh, who placed first in their competition.
