NSCS New Member Award

Each year NSCS awards $50,000 to outstanding new members across the country to help defray the cost of tuition expenses.  Login to apply

Induction Recognition Award

NSCS will award $50,000 in scholarships to new members who attend their Induction Ceremony and plan to be actively involved in their chapter.  Login to apply

Universum Award

Universum and NSCS have partnered to offer $5,000 in scholarships.  Login to apply

E-Scholar Award

NSCS offers the E-Scholar Award to outstanding members who attend one of our online university chapters.  Login to apply.

The Brandon Huseman Legacy Award for Founding Officers

Brandon Huseman embodied the ideals of leadership in his chapter and as part of the National Leadership Council.  In his honor, we will award $5,000 in scholarships to founding officers who through their leadership have furthered the NSCS mission by starting a chapter on their campus.  Login to apply

Princeton Review Scholarships (ongoing)

NSCS has partnered with The Princeton Review to offer NSCS members exclusive course scholarships.  Login to apply

George Washington University and NSCS Transfer Scholarship

George Washington University has partnered with NSCS to provide $20,000 over two years to outstanding community college members who transfer from an NSCS community college to GWU. Members must be accepted and enrolled for fall 2016.  For more info: email castillo@nscs.org.

The Amy Shopkorn Student Affairs Award

The student experience on-campus is essential to the success and impact of the overall collegiate experience at an institution.  NSCS will award two (2) $1,000 awards to NSCS members who demonstrate excellence in student involvement, leadership and academics.

NLC Award

The National Leadership Council supports NSCS and its members in many ways.  The NLC Award is a scholarship administered by our NLC to award members.

Scholarships Opening in Spring

Semester at Sea Fall Award

NSCS offers $25,000 in scholarships for students who take the fall voyage aboard Semester at Sea. 

The Barbara Lowther Gibbs Award for Excellence in Education (Alumni eligible)

NSCS will award $5,000 in scholarships to commemorate Barbara Lowther Gibbs, who dedicated her career to educating young people.

Board of Directors Award

The NSCS Board of Directors has created and funded the Board of Directors Award to recognize outstanding NSCS members who have distinguished themselves through involvement, enthusiasm and support for NSCS. 

Senior Send-Off Award

The Senior Send-Off Award recognizes graduating seniors for their contribution to NSCS. 

Jim Duncan Award for Perseverance (Alumni eligible)

A scholarship for a member who has triumphed over adversity, this award is in recognition of James C. Duncan, an NSCS member and former employee. 

Community College Transition Award

NSCS awards $10,000 in scholarship to outstanding community college students who are transferring into a 4-year institution. 

Debt Reduction Scholarship (Alumni eligible)

NSCS will provide $10,000 in scholarships to reduce school loan debt for members who are making a positive impact in their community.


NSCS has partnered with GEICO to award $20,000 in scholarships to talented, motivated NSCS members. 

GEICO Graduate Award (Alumni eligible)

NSCS has partnered with GEICO to award $20,000 in scholarships to talented, motivated current or accepted graduate NSCS members.

ISLP Award-Scholarship

The National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS) has partnered with Envision in creating an award to help an NSCS member attend one of ISLP’s many life-changing programs in the summer of 2016. 

First in the Family Scholarship

NSCS will award scholarships to assist students who are the first in their families to attend college. 

Inspire Integrity Award

NSCS members can nominate full-time professors and staff who have made a significant impact and instilled a high degree of personal and academic integrity. 

Semester at Sea Spring Award

NSCS offers $25,000 in scholarships for students who take the spring voyage aboard Semester at Sea. 

Summer Success Challenge "S2 Challenge" (Alumni eligible)

Join the Summer Success Challenge this summer for your opportunity to win $2,500 in scholarships.  Each week of the program will feature a different challenge as well as in the Scholar Connection for you to compete to earn points. 

Engaging Race Award (Alumni eligible)

NSCS members compete for this exciting scholarship of up to $1,000 to fund a service project by presenting a creative pitch for their own original, service initiative.
