Veteran Political Strategists Discuss 'Partisan Divide' at UH

Hobby Center to Host Former Democratic, Republican Committee Leaders Wednesday

The authors of “The Partisan Divide: Congress in Crisis” will be at the University of Houston Wednesday, March 11, for an event hosted by the Hobby Center for Public Policy. Former House Republican Campaign Committee chairman Tom Davis and former Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee chairman Martin Frost will talk about the legislative gridlock and other issues that have come to define Congress in the 2000s.

Davis spent 14 years in Congress, serving from 1994-2008, representing Virginia’s 11th district. Frost spent 26 years in Congress, representing the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

The event, to be held at the UH Hilton, is free and open to the public. Books will be available for purchase.
