UPDATE: Annual ROTC Jog Canceled, Veteran Visit Planned

The fourth annual three-mile Valentine's Day jog through the UH campus hosted by the Houston Corps of Cadets has been canceled due to inclement winter weather.  It had been scheduled for 6 a.m., Friday, Feb. 12.

Cadets from the Air Force ROTC unit will be visiting veterans living at the DeGeorge House at Union Station Shelter for Homeless Veterans in downtown Houston at 1 p.m., Friday, Feb. 12, to serve Valentine's Day cake and visit with residents.


The Houston Corps of Cadets, created Sept. 18, 2007, is the official association of Air Force, Army and Navy/Marine ROTC programs in the Houston metro area. With more than 375 cadets and midshipmen, the Houston Corps of Cadets is the second largest corps in the Gulf Coast region.
