UEI Scores high marks among patients

An opinion survey conducted during the spring semester at the University Eye Institute (UEI) revealed very positive results regarding patient satisfaction. More than 600 patients were surveyed, and 99 percent reported that they were either very satisfied or satisfied with their overall visit and 99 percent were either very likely or likely to return to the UEI and to recommend a friend or family member.

"Results like this require a team effort from everyone affiliated with the UEI-students, staff, residents and faculty," said Dr. Nick Holdeman, professor and associate dean for clinical education and executive director of the UEI. "We are always interested in assisting patients from the UH community; we hope these survey results will encourage visits from those who have yet to experience the personalized care and professional service we provide for all of our patients."
