Summer Camp for Future Scientists, Engineers

Putting a twist on learning how to manage their money, campers build mini rafts out of aluminum foil and plastic straws that can float on water and hold the most pennies. Just one cent too much could sink the boat. This is just one of many hands-on experiments middle school students perform during the annual ExxonMobil Bernard Harris Summer Science Camp at UH.
