THE ‘HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH’ COMES TO THE UNIVERSITY OF HOUSTON

The Disney Institute brings its Keys to Excellence Program to the University of Houston Conrad N. Hilton College of Hotel and Restaurant Management from 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 23.

The event is open to the public, but space is limited and registration is required. Visit www.disneyhouston.com/ to register and to download the program’s agenda. Use code HILTONDISNEY07 when making reservations.

“The program is ideal for any size business—from leaders in Fortune 100 companies and mid-sized organizations to small businesses,” Angela Strano, a program developer with Disney Institute, said. “Whether you're the newest member of an organization or a seasoned executive, you'll find enormous value in this program.”

Participants will learn the “Disney-style” of effective leadership, management and customer service. The program will also include workshops on “Disney-style” practices and principles to build and sustain loyalty. There are four
90-minute sessions.

“We are pleased to host our friends at Disney and are hopeful that this important seminar yields great results for the participants,” John Bowen, dean of the college, said. “We try to instill in our students many of the principles that are practiced by Disney management. They will be the next generation of hospitality business leaders for places such as Disney.”
