STUDENTS TO RECEIVE $250 DEBIT CARDS FROM NELNET
Approximately 60 University of Houston students who were displaced
by Hurricane Katrina will receive Visa gift cards, each worth $250,
from Nelnet.
Nelnet is one of the leading education finance companies in the
United States. One thousand students nationwide will receive cards.
Gift cards are being distributed through college and university
financial aid offices around the country to students in need.
UH has admitted the most displaced students from Hurricane Katrina,
besides Louisiana State University.
