Art Gallery

Lecture
The University of Houston Honors College and Department of Modern and Classical Languages present guest lecturer Tzvetan Todorov who will speak on “The Replacement of Ethics by Aesthetics.” Todorov is the director of research at the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique in Paris and author of numerous works. The University of Houston Department of Chemical Engineering presents the Neal R. Amundson Lecture featuring Professor L.E. “Skip” Scriven from the University of Minnesota. He founded the Coating Process Fundamentals Program. He has worked in the areas of fluid mechanics and interfacial phenomena. The University of Houston Center for Mexican American Studies presents the documentary ‘Border Bandits’ based on the account of Roland A. Warnock who witnessed Texas Rangers shooting two unarmed men in the back.
