Justice Through the Eyes of My Grandfather

As the prospect of war occupies the world’s attention, the grandson of celebrated peace activist Mahatma Gandhi will speak at the University of Houston March 14.

Arun Gandhi, founder of the Mahatma K. Gandhi Institute for Nonviolence, will deliver the UH Graduate School of Social Work Gerson David Lecture during the 3rd Annual Greater Houston Area Social Work Awards Breakfast.

The lecture series is devoted to issues related to the ideals of peace and social justice. According to Arun Gandhi, the most important teaching of his famous grandfather was the comprehensive philosophy of nonviolence.
