Board Chair to Announce Finalist for Chancellor/President Post

The finalist for the University of Houston System chancellor and University of Houston president position will be introduced Tuesday, July 1. The event will start at 11 a.m. in the Great Hall of the UH Athletics/Alumni Center on Cullen Boulevard at Entrance 15G (Visitor Information Center 2).

Gene McDavid, chair of the UH System Board of Regents, will introduce the finalist for the chancellor/president position to succeed current UH System Chancellor and UH President Arthur K. Smith, who announced his retirement in February effective Sept. 1. The candidate will attend the news conference.
