Volunteer with Marathon Kids at UH: April 13, Early to Late Morning
Marathon Kids is a program that works with over 48,000 children in the Houston ISD area. The program is to assist children from kindergarten to fifth grade, to better eating and moving. Each child signed up under this program is challenged to walk or run 26.2 miles (a marathon) within a school year.
This Saturday, Marathon Kids will reward these children for achieving such a great accomplishment in our Final Mile Celebration. The event will take place at the University of Houston inside the Tom Tellez stadium, Saturday morning, April 13, 2013.
We are seeking volunteers who can come out and assist us during certain hours of the morning until the end of the event, which will be late Saturday morning.
Location: Tom Tellez Stadium
