I'm interested in joining MVP. Where do I start?

As a non-profit organization, how can I reach potential volunteers at the University of Houston?

There are many ways that MVP can help non-profit organizations reach student volunteers. We can post volunteer opportunities in the weekly newsletter that we email to members and volunteers, invite a speaker from your organization to speak at a general MVP meeting which is held monthly, or provide volunteers for one-time events by positing the event on our website and actively recruiting volunteers. MVP also hosts a bi-annual volunteer fair which gives organizations the opportunity to reach students looking for volunteer opportunities. Please fill out the volunteer request form on our website, and an officer from our team will contact you to discuss how we can help you reach volunteers.

How can I be more involved with MVP and assist with planning and organizing service events?

Click here to learn about all the ways you can take a leadership role within MVP. If you’re just starting out, consider joining our All-Star Committee, which meets on a bi-weekly basis and the assists the Officers and Co-Chairs with organizing, planning, and leading MVP events.
