Lavender Graduation

Lavender Graduation, also known as Lav Grad, is an annual ceremony conducted on numerous campuses to honor lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and ally students and to acknowledge their achievements and contributions to the University.  This event is celebrated by colleges and universities across the United States since 1995.

May Ceremony Registration Information

Are you graduating in May? Would you like to be part of the Lavender Graduation ceremony? Join other LGBTQ graduating students, alumni, and distinguished guests as we recognize your accomplishments and unique experiences. Graduates are welcome to invite their friends, family, and supporters. The ceremony will be followed by our LGBTQ Alumni Association reception! As a graduate, you will receive either a lavender or rainbow graduation cord and certificate.

There is no cost associated with participating.

December Brunch Registration Information

Are you graduating in December? Would you like to be part of the Lavender Graduation brunch? Join other LGBTQ graduating students, alumni, and distinguished guests as we recognize your accomplishments and unique experiences. Graduates are welcome to invite their friends, family, and supporters. The ceremony will be hosted by our LGBTQ Alumni Association. As a graduate, you will receive either a lavender or rainbow graduation cord and certificate. Registration is required and closes November 25th.
