Paul Pendergraft's reporting skills gained KUHF its first regional Edward R. Murrow award in 1999. The honor is for Paul's extraordinary use of sound to tell a story. We are pleased to have his reporting skills at work for KUHF's news department.

Paul came to KUHF in the spring of 1996 as a general assignments reporter. This means he never knows where he might end up from day to day. He's so versatile in his reporting that he does not have a "favorite" news beat. Whatever the assignment, Paul will find the right interviews and the right sound to give our listeners a front row seat with his story. He was named the Press Club of Houston's Radio Journalist of the Year in 1998. Paul is also the backup host for All Things Considered and Saturday Weekend Edition.
