Using Blackboard for Instructional Continuity

In the event of class disruption due to an emergency situation, all faculty may use a Blackboard course shell to continue student communication and classroom management.

Current Blackboard Users

Current Blackboard users can immediately begin using Blackboard for instructional continuity.

New Blackboard Users

A blank shell has been created for every course and section of undergraduate and Master Level classes.  Once the administration has notified the campus of a closure, faculty who have not used Blackboard in the past will be able to log on to their blank shell by going to: http://www.uh.edu/blackboard. Click the blue "log in here" button.  Faculty will enter their PS ID and birthdate in the mmddyyx! format where "x" is the first letter of your last name.
