Install Lync
Before you can sign-in to Lync, Lync must be installed on your computer. For Lync installation instructions, see:

Password
Enter your Exchange email password in the Password field.
Click Sign-in.

What to do When a Windows Security Password Request Appears
For one reason or another, a Windows Security dialog box sometimes appears requesting a password. Perhaps Lync is unable to connect to your Exchange account to access recent call history or voice mail.

If one of the following dialog boxes appears (shown below):
  1. Supply your password.
  2. Do not select Remember My Credentials.
  3. Click Ok.
Note: Never select Remember My Credentials.

For more information, see Managing Your CougarNet Password[pdf].
