Printer Queues on SPOOLER
Printer Queue Creation - SPOOLER
Printer queues are used to help connect printers to the UH network. SPOOLER is a print server that can be used by computers in areas where there is not a print server. Prior to requesting a printer queue on SPOOLER, you will need to have:
- a printer, network-able and able to accept an IP address,
- network communications for the printer,
- an IP address for the printer, and
- an e-mail address.
To request a SPOOLER print queue or determine if one already exists in your area, contact the UITSC at 713-743-1411 or support@uh.edu.
