Purpose
To minimize the impact of a disaster, a department must first identify and prioritize their critical business functions, and then develop a recovery plan for quick restoration.

Departmental managers.
Process Overview
- Complete a Risk Assessment
- Identify business processes
- Rank business processes by priority and impact to organization
- Complete a Business Impact Analysis (BIA) Questionnaire
- Develop a BIA questionnaire for your organization (with information obtained from the risk assessment)
- Answer questions
- Analyze answers
- Generate report
