Event Updates
A phishing email purporting to be from the “University of Houston” with subject line “Subject: Information Technology Services” and UH graphics in the body of the message has been sent to some members of the UH community. The message body contains the following text along with a logon button.
“We have upgraded Cisco anyconnect vpn client software, please click the login button to reactivate your UHVPN Service access.”
If you clicked the link and entered your username and password into the phishing webpage immediately change your password (www.uh.edu/password) and then contact IT Security 832-842-4695 or security@uh.edu.
