Event Updates
Monitoring and reports indicate a network outage is occurring at Cullen Oaks Apartments, TLC2, Cougar Woods Dining Hall, Clinical Research Services, and Cameron Buildings. Network operations are investigating.
Network operations discovered a fiber cut has occurred at a campus construction site. Management and support are in route to that location to assess the issue and determine the best course of action for restoring service. Affected locations are Clinical Research Services, Cameron, Cougar Woods Dining Facility, Cullen Oaks Apartment, and TLCC Annex.
Network Operations and contractor are going to replace a fiber. No ETA is available at this time.

Network operations identified the network cabling and repair supplies needed to repair the damaged fiber strands. Once contractors have obtained the required supply repairs will begin. An established time for restored service is not currently available. The affected locations are Clinical Research Services, Cameron, Cougar Woods Dining Facility, Cullen Oaks Apartments, TLCC Annex and the KUHT uplink to their satellite dishes .
Contractors have completed the fiber repair. Networking services have been restored at Clinical Research Services, Cameron, Cougar Woods Dining Facility, Cullen Oaks Apartments, and KUHT uplink to their satellite dishes.
Additional fiber splicing is required to restore network connectivity to TLCC Annex. The estimated time to repair is unknown.
