Monitoring applications are reporting a network disruption.

Customers are experiencing a network service disruption at the Fred J. Heyne, Roy G. Cullen, and the Texas Learning and Computational Cert Annex buildings. The estimated time of repair has not been determined.

SMEs are have been contacted to investigate this incident.

A failed distribution switch has been identified and is being replaced. Access to network resources are unavailable at the Fred J. Heyne, Roy G. Cullen, and the Texas Learning and Computational Center Annex until replacement of the device. The estimated time of repair has not been determined.

There was a problem in replacing the supervisor card, SMEs are trying to find another card. 

Access to network resources are unavailable at the Fred J. Heyne, Roy G. Cullen, Texas Learning & Computational Center Annex, Cameron, Clinical Research Services Center, AD Bruce Religion, McElhinney, and the Center for Students with Disabilities. 

The estimated time of repair has not been determined.

SME's attempted to replace the supervisor card, but the replacement did not function as expected. SME's continue to work on the card, and are exploring additional options to restore service as soon as possible.

SME's have restored network services to the impacted buildings. Analyst were required to rebuild multiple interfaces to re-route services to a second distribution switch in the closet.
