Actions and Root Causes

On June 5, 2013, wireless services became stable at 09:30 am. Even though clients were experiencing intermittent connectivity wireless services were not down.

Corrective and Preventative Measures

The wireless team worked to re-establish client service at affected access points once the licensing issue was resolved.

Due to unanticipated issues with a wireless upgrade, wireless services are unavailable. The wireless team is working with the vendor to resolve the incident. There is currently no estimated time of resolution.

During the wireless upgrade process, the Meru licensing credentials were lost, causing the APs to shutdown. Wireless Admins are working with Meru to regenerate the credentials, upload them to the controllers, then upgrade the APs. The process is expected to take a minimum of 40 minutes to complete.
