DisruptedPartial Power Disruption Energy Research Buildings 402 and 403

Staff reports and network management tools indicate a partial power disruption is occurring at the Energy Research Park in buildings 402 and 403.  

Currently one general access stacking switch is offline. Powered office equipment connected to this switch will not have network access. Addtional network equipment currently operating on uninteruptible power supplies may go offline once battery backup is drained causing additional network access events.

UH maintenance personnel are aware of and investigating the service outage. Centerpoint Energy was contacted and they have dispatched a repair crew.

Power transmission to the affected buildings was restored by the electric company.
