The secondary data router at UH Victoria port Gi4/47 has lost its connection to the intermediate device servicing the Victoria videoconference stations.

UHCVN services at Victoria, Sugarland, Cinco Ranch and UH main campuses are impacted. The estimated time to repair has not been established.

Notification has been sent to UH network and CVN support at Victoria.

It was discovered that port Gi 4/47 may have been damaged and is shorting out whenever the cable is touched.  The network will be moved to another port some time tomorrow when there are no ITV classes in session.
