Due to an ongoing contract dispute between media content provider VIACOM and DirectTV, the University of Houston’s Cougar Vision service provider, the networks will not be available until further notice. The deadline for resolving this dispute was midnight on July 10, 2012.  Negotiations between VIACOM and DirectTV are still ongoing and it is our hope that these channels will be restored shortly.  We will be monitoring the situation closely. We apologize for the inconvenience.

  • VH1 CLASSIC

Cougar Village channels affected by the VIACOM - DirectTV negotiations include: 32, 33, 72, 73, 74, 75, 76, 77, 79.

Media content provided VIACOM and Cougar Vision service provided DirectTV have reached an agreement, and the VIACOM content is once again available through Cougar Vision.
