System administrators have discovered spamming activity on mail.uh.edu. Administrators have turned off outbound delivery from mail.uh.edu. They are identifying compromised accounts and clearing the queues. Outbound email for mail.uh.edu will be re-enabled after all queues are cleared. Email messages sent using mail.uh.edu accounts will be delayed reaching recipients. We apologize for the inconvenience.

All queues were cleared of spam mails and normal mail processing has resumed. There are currently no delivery delays. GMail and Yahoo are slowly processing email from mail.uh.edu due to spam complaints. This will continue for a preset period, then normal processing of mail to those providers will resume.
