The Department of Enterprise Systems is one of five Information Technology Departments reporting to the Vice President/Vice Chancellor for Information Technology. Enterprise System is responsible for administrative computing at the University of Houston System. The FAST People Soft project is also grouped with Enterprise Systems. This includes application and database management to support enrollment services, college services, student financial services, official campus reporting functions, human resources, payroll, financial accounting, budget and alumni/development.
Enterprise Systems is located in room 250 in University Business Park Building 3 at 5000 Gulf Freeway. This is the old Schlumberger campus just south of the University. Enterprise Systems (ES) designs, develops, acquires, implements and maintains UH-System-wide administrative computing applications and database management software. Enterprise Systems provides functionally rich, easy-to-use, operationally stable applications allowing our user community to operate efficiently while providing high quality support services.
