Section 2: Project Documentation
Project documentation includes instructions, charts, correspondence and other material dealing with a specific project. It provides a permanent description of the project along with the solutions and the methods used to resolve any problems.
Identification and Responsibility
A project number and title are used to identify each project. Responsibility for initiating and maintaining the project documentation lies with the project leader who will be assigned by the MIS director or appropriate manager.

An outline of the steps necessary to complete the project.
Estimated costs
Estimated time for each task
Project staffing
Lists the staff assigned to the project by name, title and FTE assigned.

Project Concept
A brief narrative describing the objectives, scope, and methods to be employed.
